I like new trails, but I especially like working out the details of a new out-and-back hike.
What I really like about this new trail is that there are a few options for spending the night, and filling the following day with pure hiking bliss.
Thanks to Avi at Traverse Outfitters (did you know that not only can you rent your next camping equipment, but they’ll deliver it to your door anywhere in the five boroughs?), I was prompted to plan my next overnight on the new section of the Long Path. I’ll let you know what I find.
